I said; "Yes your Honor. I would like to ask for a change of venue."
Judge says; "For what reason? There hasn't been any "pre-trial publicity."
My response was; "As I am sure that you know, most requests for change of venue have to do with relationships between the officers of a court, and powerful individuals within the community creating and unfair advantage for one side in a legal dispute."
Going on to say; "I believe that the owner's of Tiger Real Estate Fund LP, AND their "Limited partner investors" have an undo influence over many officers of this court. Undo influence within the judicial, prosecutorial, and advocate branches"
According to the laws of the State of Calif, from the moment that I requested a change of venue, and cited my belief that personal relationships between two of the richest men in the county, and officers of this State of Calif. Superior Court might make for a situation in which a fair, legal, outcome in my favor would be in danger, at the VERY LEAST, the judge was supposed to convene a; "change of venue hearing" to ascertain if there was any merit to my request.
Instead, the judge scowled, and said; "Denied."
I left the court room smiling. Even though I had just learned that my troubles in getting a fair trial as concerned this matter were going to continue.
But at least I was finally starting to get some information into the record.

The second point of interest happened on 01-15-2003 when I made a motion for the court's removal of the second strike allegation. I was in judge Brodies court room again. I pointed out to him what he already knew. That this was an illegal strike attachment for 4 different legal reasons. Anyone of which was enough to mandate their removal. My motion was denied.
